Drupal Search Engine Optimization (a first attempt)
Submitted by Jack on Fri, 09/26/2008 - 14:08How to make a Drupal website work for you...
I've taken a good look at Drupal search engine optimization this week. On one of my previous blogs I mentioned that I was frustrated with the amount of websites that are on the web but just don't do anything. They aren't generating sales or driving traffic to the site... just sitting there doing nothing!
So, to put an end to my frustrations I started looking at how how to make websites work... what is it that makes a website successful?
There's a couple of ways to measure success for a a website...
Spanish translation - Junction J
Submitted by Jack on Thu, 09/18/2008 - 16:13A little Junction J update...
I started to work with Russ, today, to provide a Spanish version of Junction J. We're going to use the locale module to provide another language option for users at registration.
New Jobs - Websites on a budget!
Submitted by Jack on Wed, 09/17/2008 - 14:26I've been talking to two potential clients in the last 24 hours and I'm fairly sure we're going to go ahead with both! I'm pretty excited! I'm trying to keep costs as low as possible for both as they are small companies and should be very uncomplicated sites.
Junction J
Submitted by Jack on Tue, 09/16/2008 - 21:37I've recently started working, a few hours a month, for an internet church called Junction J. The site has been running for quite a while now and I am coming into the middle of it all. The community and site are doing really well and there's a lot of activity happening there on a daily basis.
Basically... It's a Drupal site that is using TONNES of different modules to allow groups/forums/user profiles/live video streaming/blogs etc etc to happen.
Elsieunderwood.com
Submitted by Jack on Tue, 09/16/2008 - 16:16So a few months ago a friend of mine asked me if I knew anyone who was good with websites. lol to make a long story very short I soon agreed to help re-design and re-build www.elsieunderwood.com!
The site was proving to be tricky for them to update and they wanted to add a web store, which would be hooked up to her Paypal account, so they could start capitalizing on interest they'd been getting from all around the world. I was pretty confident that I could put together exactly what they were looking for.
