We've moved!

This site is no longer being maintained. We will leave all the posts and information as it is but we've made a new home over at http://beacon9.ca.

Partners In Harvest

Partners in Harvest is a large organization that brings together 1000's of churches all over the world into one network. The website was designed to be a hub where church leaders from all over could find information on the network as well as find resources to help and encourage them with their churches.

Feature Highlights

Fresh New Look - The site has been completely re-designed and re-structured, as well as being re-built on a Drupal CMS. We wanted to work with feedback they had been given about the previous navigation, add new features as well as help them create a fresh and inspiring new look.

Community - 'GetPluggedIn' is an idea from the PIH team that we helped to develop and to "brand" for the new website. The idea was for the PIH team to be able to upload videos, podcasts and blogs for the site users to be able to view and comment on. Essentially, creating some online community where pastors can connect in between PIH events.

FFMPEG Flash Video - We added flash video capability into the site (using community contributed modules), the PIH team can upload video of any format (quicktime, windows media, etc.) and it automatically be converted to flash video. This is to make file sizes smaller for download as well as being a more widely accepted format so for most users there is no need to download a plugin.

We were extremely happy with the end result on this project and so were our clients... so happy that they have asked us to start work on a second round of feature development. Come back later for more information.

Thank You Jack!! We really appreciate all you have done to get our website going. You have worked hard and have been very quick in pulling this together and helping us launch a new season here at Partners In Harvest. You are flexible, accommodating and very easy to work with! We really value your honesty and integrity that seems to be the core of your company.
